COVID-19 Update from Frank Sullivan, Jr., CEO

On Friday, June 12, Governor Stitt announced a plan, developed with the assistance of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, providing for the gradual, phase by phase re-opening of visitation in nursing homes across Oklahoma.

Our facility is carefully reading through this 11 type written page plan from our Governor.  We are required to develop our own plan, customized within the parameters established by the Governor, the State Department of Health, CMS, and CDC.

We immediately began working on the plan and will diligently continue until our plan meets the combined and individual needs of our residents and follows the guidelines of all supervising agencies.

It will be necessary for all of us to exercise patience and caution in the development of this plan. As you know, COVID-19 is on the rise in Oklahoma. We have done so well up to this point and it would be a disaster to have gone this far and make rash decisions that would detrimentally affect the health and lives of our residents and staff.

We will strive to strike a solid balance between so many competing interests, without compromising the lives of our residents.  As soon as our plan is completed we will make it available to all of our residents and their families.

Thank you for your patience!
